Last Updated: June 12, 2025. Welcome to Astanur! These User Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our websites, products, and services ("Services"). This is a binding legal agreement, so please read it carefully.

1. Your Account

To access most Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide us with accurate, complete, and updated information for your account. You are solely responsible for any activity on your account and for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your password. We are not liable for any acts or omissions by you in connection with your account.

2. Using Our Services

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access our Services and use the items in accordance with the Astanur Elements License. Your use of the Services must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Intellectual Property

The Services themselves, and all intellectual property rights therein, are and shall remain our exclusive property. The Items available on our Services are the property of their respective creators (Authors). You do not gain any ownership rights to an Item by downloading it.

4. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Services. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

The Astanur Elements License is simple: you get broad commercial rights to use items with confidence on your work or personal projects.

Key License Terms:

1. Single Use Registration: Each time you download an Item, you get a license for a single, specified use. For example, using a music track in one video production. If you want to use the same item in a new project, you must register it again from your Downloads page. This is perpetual, meaning your registered use is covered forever, even if you unsubscribe.
2. Broad Commercial Rights: You can use Items for client work and in commercial projects. This includes online advertising, social media marketing, and corporate presentations.
3. Prohibited Uses:
   • You cannot re-sell or re-distribute any Item as-is or with superficial modifications.
   • You cannot use Items in "on-demand" services where a user can customize a product (e.g., a "build your own t-shirt" website using our graphics).
   • You cannot use Items as the basis for merchandising (e.g., printing a graphic on a mug for sale) where the Item is the main value of the product.
   • You cannot use music items in traditional broadcasts (TV, Radio) or theatrically released films without obtaining a separate license.

Our goal is to foster a safe, respectful, and legally compliant creative community. You agree you will not use our Services to create, share, or promote content that is:

• Illegal: Violates any international, federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
• Harmful or Fraudulent: Contains viruses or malicious code, or engages in phishing, spamming, or other deceptive practices.
• Infringing: Violates or infringes on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
• Offensive or Defamatory: Is harassing, defamatory, libelous, abusive, threatening, obscene, or racially or ethnically offensive.
• Exploitative: Involves the sexual or abusive exploitation of children or any other person.

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates this policy, without prior notice.

Your privacy is critically important to us. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

We collect information you provide directly to us (like your name and email when you sign up), information about your use of our Services (like your downloads and licensed items), and technical data (like your IP address and browser type).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our Services.

• Communicate with you about your account and our Services.
• Personalize your experience, such as by recommending content.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate (like payment processors), with Authors for royalty allocation, or if required by law. All third parties are subject to strict data protection requirements.
